Tony "Big Blue" Smith 1992-2010
Loren “TONY” Smith, 17, AKA Big Blue, graced us with his presence from February 4, 1992 thru January 14, 2010. Tony passed from this earth after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. He was a graduate of Andrew Jackson Middle School and attended Nitro High School. He is survived by his step-father and mother, Owen and Kellie Plantz,grandfather and grandmother Ernest and Marian Hooper of Dayton Ohio 9 brothers and sisters Andrew, Kristie, Renee’, Dakota, Clarke, Nikki, Jason, John and Kala, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Tony was there for the mission anytime he was needed. Many times he was unloading food in 20 degree temperatures. He will be greatly missed.
