Margaret "Maw Maw" Adkins

Margaret Adkins, 85,of Winifrede went home to be with the Lord on October 7, 2010 in Genesis Marmet Health Care Center.
She was a Member of Winifrede Chapel Church and was a perfect example of what a Christian should be.
She fought the fight and kept the Faith, now she has made it home.
She was preceded in death by Husband: Edward Ray Adkins on Dec. 11, 1996, Son: Herbert Ray Adkins, Sr. and Grandson: Herbert Ray Adkins, Jr.
Parents: Edward Ervin and Rose Smith, Step-mother: Laura Belle Smith, Sister: Zola McFadden and
Brothers: Russell and Carlos David Smith and Carlos, Delbert and Herb Neiswonger
Surviving Are: Son: Harley (Christine) Adkins of Ohio Daughter: Kay Adkins of South Charleston Brother: Frankie (Helen) Smith of Ohio
Sisters: Judy Smith and Sylvia Phares (Bob) of Ohio and Helen Zenbauer of Kansas Grandchildren: Kay (Mark) Butcher of Chespeake
Margie (Mike) Spires of Ohio Cindy (Dennis) Gordon of Ohio D.J. (Gina) Adkins of Ohio
Great Grandchildren: Anthony Moore, Christina, Jimmy and Jonathan Vannoy, David and Andy Adkins, Josh and Megan Spires, Corey Gordon and Jeremy, Joshua and Jordan Butcher.
Great Great Grandchildren: Brooklyn, Madison and Ashtun and A host of nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.
The family wishes to offer special thanks to all the staff at Marmet Health Care Center for all their wonderful care and support.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday October 11, 2010 at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet with Rev. Donald Lanham and Dee Gibson officiating.
Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday October 10, 2010 at the Funeral Home.
