1992-2012 Ms. Karissa Gayle Ramsey, 19, of Cross Lanes passed away May 20, 2012. Karissa was a 2011 graduate of St. Albans High School, participating in cheerleading and Powder Puff Football. She attended Marshall University, and was currently employed at Sonic in St. Albans. She was preceded in death by her aunt, Susan Gail Ramsey; and grandparents, Ralph J. Herbert, Marie Ceney, Kathleen and Hubert Price and James and Carrie Ramsey. She is survived by her mother, Michelle Ceney and husband, Mark, of St. Albans; father, David A. Ramsey and girlfriend, Mary Spillane, of Parkersburg; grandparents, Billy and Melba Ramsey of Cross Lanes and Mike and Judy Stewart of Poca; step-grandfather, Tom Ceney of St. Albans; brothers and sisters, David "D.J." Ramsey of New Mexico, Maddy Ramsey of Cross Lanes and Brooklynn Rodgers, Dylan Rodgers and Rian Ceney, all of St. Albans; boyfriend, Chris Hill; and a host of aunts, uncles cousins and other family members and friends. A tribute to the life of Karissa will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Arthur officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
